Civil Unrest aka Dj Pseudonym & Dr Weevil
Civil Unrest is the partnership of Dj Pseudonym and Dr Weevil. The Civil Unrest show is a unique blend of turntablism and furious live electronics.
Together they draw on a huge range of musical influences to produce banging dance floor tracks which mash up elements of hardcore, techno, hip-hop, jungle and reggae.
Dr Weevil is one of the UK's tightest battle Djs: 3 x DMC UK finalist & IDA UK finalist, throwing hard fast scratches and clinical beat-juggles into the live tekno mix.
Dj Pseudonym is from the infamous Tekno sound system Desert Storm.
He was part of the legendary trips across war torn Bosnia, as documented in the film "Storming Sarajevo", which gained the crew so much infamy.
Desert Storm was central in the mid 90's Reclaim The Streets demos and a major force in the European Tekno scene.
Together they play at major dance events throughout Europe, Asia, and beyond.
